Marcus has a proven track record of being an outstanding teacher and a strong leader. He has a well-established background in Business and Finance after completing postgraduates in Economics, Econometrics and Criminology. He has worked in finance and property before completing his MBA. Moving into teaching, Marcus is a trained Mathematics teacher who also specialised in Business, Economics and Computer Science from KS3 to A-level in inner London secondary schools for over a decade, being head of department as well as SLT.  

Marcus is now at Vanguard where he taught Mathematics and Computing and was the Data and Assessments manager before becoming Associate Assistant Principal and finally Deputy Principal in charge of Quality of Education.
