Senior Leadership Team

Rachael Clements - Interim Principal

Rachael has worked in the education field for over 25 years.  She has held several senior positions both in the UK and abroad and has experience of working with pupils of all ages and abilities within primary and secondary settings.

She began her career in the Primary sector in Inner London, progressing to Primary Headship where she was responsible for the amalgamation of both an Infant and Junior department whilst developing a Nursery alongside. She has supported the start-up and development of a school in Central Asia, providing opportunities for local and international pupils to access future education in the UK and the USA.

Due to family circumstances, Rachael acquired knowledge as a parent and as an educator of supporting pupils with special needs and took the decision to move into specialist education.  Her experience includes working with the Local Authority to support children missing in education, working within SEMH and Autism settings and leading on transitioning pupils from mainstream to specialist settings in a trauma-informed way to support pupils to reengage in learning.  Her most recent senior posts have been focused on the strategic improvement of schools, particularly on raising standards in education, attendance and safeguarding.

Rachael is passionate about working with pupils in a holistic way and providing the best environment for them to reach their full potential.  She is a keen collaborator and loves working with teams to ensure the best outcomes for all.

Jessica Reid - Inclusion & Designated Safeguarding Lead

Jessica has gained a wealth of experience in specialist education both in and outside of London across primary, secondary and residential settings. She has spent a number of years supporting children and young people with complex learning needs and associated social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Jessica studied Psychology at the University of Leeds and developed her skills supporting children with a diverse range of needs across both the education and charity sectors. Jessica specialised specifically in trauma-informed practise and worked with victim support as an advocate for children and young people who had experienced domestic abuse and adverse life experiences. With this knowledge, Jessica brings with her an understanding of the impact adversity can have on a young person and what is needed to promote educational outcomes and support pupils to reach their full potential.

Jessica is passionate about promoting the safety and wellbeing of young people and ensuring that they are given the opportunity to learn and live a happy and fulfilling life.
